Your Gateway to
Smarter, Secure and Connected Open Finance

Unity’s FinVerse is a robust and future-ready Open Finance orchestration platform, purpose-built to meet the CBUAE’s regulatory framework under CBUAE’s Open Finance initiative. Engineered for performance, security, and compliance, it includes an inbuilt API management layer for seamless API exposure, consent management, and third-party integration across the UAE ecosystem. Backed by proven Bahrain Open Banking implementation and strengthened by Unity’s inhouse expertise, FinVerse ensures a smooth transition into the new era of Open Finance.

FinVerse Architecture

Modular microservices architecture of FinVerse enables scalability, flexibility, and ease of integration
with both legacy and modern banking infrastructures.
The solution is composed of five distinct yet tightly coupled architectural layers

API-communication
Communication Layer

Implements Mutual TLS (MTLS) and digital certificate handling to ensure secure, bidirectional trust establishment between the FinVerse Gateway and the Nebras API Hub or Third-Party Providers (TPPs).

Authorization Layer

Manages OAuth 2.0 flows, fine-grained consent capture, revocation, and token issuance, fully aligned with the CBUAE’s prescribed data access protocols.

API Layer

Unity’s FinVerse supports leading API management platforms like KONG, delivering advanced features such as rate limiting, versioning, traffic control, policy enforcement, caching, and developer portal exposure.

Routing Layer

The Routing Engine intelligently classifies payments as intra-bank or inter-bank and automatically selects the optimal route based on settlement currency and beneficiary details. By delivering instant and accurate routing decisions, it streamlines payment processing and ensures seamless, efficient, and reliable execution of both domestic and international transactions across NPSS, FTS, and SWIFT systems

Integration Layer

Handles dynamic field mapping, protocol transformation, and adaptation logic to interface with core banking, payment rails, or external data systems.

Resource Layer

Houses business logic, rule engines, persistence layers, and transaction auditing systems with support for real-time and batch data processing.
